Daisy reins or anti-grazing reins are a great option for young riders or beginners aboard horses or ponies who like to stop for a snack on the trail. These reins clip to the D rings on an English saddle and run the length of the horse's neck and buckle onto the crownpiece of the bridle. This gives the horse freedom of motion during normal movement, but prevents them from being to get their head all the way down to the ground for an unscheduled snack. Some riders also find these reins helpful in preventing a horse putting their head down to buck.
