PULLING Western BREAST COLLAR made from Beta Biothane

BETTER THAN LEATHER Pulling Western Breast Collar

In stock
The pulling breast collar takes its name from ranch days, when a horse may be asked to pull a fallen log or a roped cow against the saddle, because the pulling breast collar was less likely to break. This style has tugs attached to the pommel or swells, which are less likely to break than the D-rings.

Our beta biothane pulling breast collar is designed with heavy straps that will hold up to rugged use but are also designed to avoid interference with a horse's movement or air during heavy work.

Our 580 beta biothane looks so much like leather, you won't be able to believe it's not. This material is even thinner and more pliable than our regular beta biothane, and has the glow of recently-oiled leather!

Neoprene padding can also be added if desired.

I've used regular western breast collars before but this is the first time I have used a pulling western breast collar. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to configure to my saddle and it's actually perfect to fit almost any saddle since mine doesn't have a D ring to attach a regular breast collar. I really like the 1 inch size as it isn't too thick on my small little mare. And let's not forget how easy biothane is to clean!
